With only 10% less fat than butter, this is not the best choice if you are hoping to lower the saturated fat in your diet, but for a dairy free spread it has a great buttery flavor, It doesn’t have an oily texture and is the same pale, colour as butter with a delicate, salty taste. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Tastes great on crumpets.

Best for baking..A daily free spread made with sunflower oil, this is fine for baking cakes biscuits, Generally block margarines are better than spreads but this is reliable brand. Make with nun-hydro generated oils and low in saturated fats, this is a good options for anyone following a low fat diet as well as those cooking dairy free . Vitalite

My husband is a big meat eater,so when he out of town, I try to cut back on meat and make this hearty chili. It’s very quick and easy.
1 can hot chili beans
1 can black beans
1 can mexican stewed tomatoes
1 cup frozen corn
1/2 chunky salsa
1/2 cup coarsley chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1 tbsp. cumin powder
2 tsp. chili powder
4 tbsp. sour cream
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Direction:
In a large saucepan combine the first nine ingredients. Bring to a boil . Reduce heat : cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender. Top each serving with sour cream and cheese.
