John was just a day old when his Mum noticed that screamed every time She lifted his legs to changes his nappy. His Grandmother was worried and asked a doctor to see him.
His Mum shocked when the Doctor told to his Mum, John’s legs was broken, and further tests showed he had a brittle bone disease. The condition is genetic,and there is no cure. Instead, I had to watch him like hawk so he didn’t fall over. That was fairly easy when he was a baby, but as he got older it was impossible to keep my eye on him all the time.Even reaching for a toy, he would sometimes fall and break his arm. at the age 12, he’s broken 41 bones and has needed eight operations.
He has to used a wheelchair, but that doesn’t stop him. Now he’s older , he’s more careful, John already leads a full life, and his positive attitude he’ll be fine.
